GALA price crashes 25% after deleting this tweet

Earlier this week, you could read in the Altcoin news that the price of Gala Games’ own token, called GALA, shot up considerably after announcing a collaboration with the well-known actors Dwayne Johnson, better known as ‘The Rock’, and Mark Wahlberg.

The collaboration relates to Gala Films, which is part of the Gala ecosystem. Besides Gala Films, Gala Music is another part of this ecosystem. The Rock and Wahlberg have two separate films in production and Gala Films said in the announcement that it sees this as a way to get a large number of people to their blockchain.

GALA’s share price shot up extremely hard after the announcement. It increased by no less than 68%. In just a few days, the price had even risen by an astronomical 140%.

GALA corrects after deleting tweet

However, the tweet announcing the collaboration with the popular Hollywood actors was removed for unknown reasons. After deleting this tweet, the price is about 25% lower than its peak it reached on Monday of about $0.05. At the time of writing, the price is at $0.037, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

The now-deleted tweet said the following:

As you read this, we are developing two movies starring The Rock (aka Dwayne Johnson) and Mark Wahlberg! Two absolutely great forces in the entertainment industry. You’ve seen their work on screen, but I think their presence is perhaps even more powerful off screen and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them.”

Gala Games has now sent a tweet to the world with a link to an AMA (‘aask me anything‘) in which you can learn more about the collaboration with Wahlberg. The rumor mill is now working overtime after the deletion of the tweet and the silence surrounding The Rock.
