Gabriel Veron loaned to Brazil’s Juventude by FC Porto.

It’s a familiar sight in football: a promising young talent moves to a big European club, then finds himself needing a fresh start. That’s the story for Gabriel Veron, the winger who has now returned to Brazil. He’s joined Juventude on loan from FC Porto.

The agreement means Veron will play for Juventude until the very end of this year, December 31st. Interestingly, FC Porto pointed out on their website that no agents were involved in making this loan deal happen. It was a direct arrangement between the two clubs.

FC Porto, the club he’s been with, publicly wished Gabriel Veron all the best for this new chapter in his career. Since 2023, Veron hadn’t quite settled into the first team in Portugal. This isn’t his first loan spell back home either. Before joining Juventude, he had similar stints with Cruzeiro and Santos, also in Brazil. This move gives him another chance to find his stride and get consistent game time.
