MSI 2025 Heats Up
The MSI 2025 is just around the corner, and the first team to secure a spot is G2 Esports. They took down KOI 3-1 in a best-of-five showdown. This win sends G2 to the grand final and lands them a spot in the MSI and the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
G2’s Rasmus “Caps” Winther and his team are on a roll. They’ve been making waves in the League of Legends EMEA Championship since the second split in 2023. Although they came close last time, finishing second, they’re looking fierce this season.
Their road to the top wasn’t easy. The series against KOI was intense, with a fearless draft that kept fans on the edge of their seats. G2’s strategy paid off, and they’re now one step closer to taking home the championship title and a chunk of the €80,000 prize pool.

The real test is yet to come. G2 will face off against an opponent to be determined on June 8. The winner will take home the trophy and a cool €40,000. Will G2 keep their momentum going, or will their opponent throw them off their game? The League of Legends community is on the edge of their seats, waiting to find out.
