FURIA’s CS2 Team Embraces Trilingual Communication with New Additions

FURIA’s Counter-Strike 2 team just got two new players: Danil “molodoy” Golubenko from Kazakhstan and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis from Latvia. How’s the team’s communication working out now?

The old all-Brazilian lineup is gone, and the team’s going global to boost performance. But this new mix raises questions about how they talk to each other during games.

The YouTube channel Terukecs made a video about it. They talked to Molodoy, the team’s rising star, about how they communicate.

“We speak Russian when it’s just YEKINDAR and me. I’m more comfortable with that. He’s okay with it either way. The Brazilian players talk in Portuguese when it’s just the three of them.”

The team seems to be making it work. Molodoy said it’s not a problem:

“We figured it out in our first practice, and it’s been fine. Actually, during a long pause, I asked YEKINDAR to translate something into Russian because I hadn’t understood it.”

Their first tournament with the new lineup was the PGL Astana 2025 in Kazakhstan, where they came in fourth. Will these changes take FURIA to the next level? Only time will tell.

What’s next for FURIA?

The team’s performance in Astana was a good start. With Molodoy and YEKINDAR on board, they might just have what it takes to compete with the best. We’ll be watching to see how they do in their next tournament.

The verdict

FURIA’s new lineup is an experiment worth watching. With players from different countries and languages, it’s not going to be easy. But if they can make it work, they might just become a force to be reckoned with in the Counter-Strike 2 scene.
