FURIA secured a dominant 2-0 victory in the best-of-three series against Falcons, a team notable for its high-profile player acquisitions. The win sets up a grand final showdown against Team Vitality.
The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, at 8:00 AM UTC. This marks a significant milestone for FURIA, as it is their inaugural appearance in an IEM final.
The Brazilian squad’s recent performance has been consistently strong. This marks their third final appearance in their last four competitive tournaments.
In the semifinal match, played Saturday, November 8, FURIA first triumphed on their map pick, Inferno, with a decisive 13-5 scoreline. Yuri “yuurih” Santos delivered a crucial performance during this round.
They then closed out the series by winning Falcons’ map pick, Mirage, with a final score of 13-11.
