Esports giant FURIA recently made a big announcement. Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis is now a permanent part of their Counter-Strike 2 squad. The team made the news official this past Friday, July 4, 2025. He played for the team on a temporary basis before. This move makes their main team complete.
This spring, FURIA started bringing in more international talent. Danil “molodoy” Golubenko joined them permanently in April. YEKINDAR came on loan for big tournaments. These included PGL Astana, IEM Dallas, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Fans quickly grew to love YEKINDAR’s play style. There was some playful talk online about him leaving. But FURIA quickly put those rumors to rest. They confirmed he’s staying with a fun announcement. Even coach Sidnei “sidde” Macedo got in on the jokes. He said YEKINDAR’s “CPF” was ready. Think of it like getting a local ID card. It’s a warm way to say he’s truly one of them now.
Seu CPF tá pronto, pode buscar no Poupatempo mais próximo 🇧🇷

With their roster now locked in, FURIA is ready for its next challenge. That will be the FISSURE Playground #1 tournament. It runs from July 15 to 20. Other strong teams will also compete there, including MIBR and paiN.
