The Brazilian esports team FURIA has been making headlines with recent roster changes in their CS2 lineup.
Roster Shakeup
In April, FURIA announced the departure of Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes.
Just two days ago, Felipe “skullz” Medeiros also left the team.
To fill the first vacant spot, they brought in Danil “molodoy” Golubenko from Kazakhstan.
The team’s pro player, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, recently shared a video explaining the reasoning behind their latest addition.
YEKINDAR Joins the Team
FalleN revealed that Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis was chosen for his language skills and gaming expertise.
YEKINDAR speaks the same language as Golubenko, making communication smoother.
Additionally, FalleN praised YEKINDAR’s experience playing for top-tier teams like Virtus.pro.
Upcoming Tournament
FURIA is set to compete in the PGL Astana 2025 tournament starting May 10.
The event boasts a total prize pool of $625,000, with the winner taking home $200,000.
FURIA’s new roster is gearing up for the challenge, and fans are eager to see how they’ll perform.
