THE fujifilm recently presented his Global Service Center in Portugal🇧🇷 This is the latest bet from the Japanese giant that includes the largest technical assistance center in Europe (CRS) for the range of cameras and digital lenses from the Japanese multinational.
In addition, the repair center will also guarantee the repair needs of endoscopes, among other products of the camera manufacturer. It is, therefore, another asset for the North, in particular for the Greater Porto region.
It is the largest service center for Fujifilm machines in Europe.
This center, which will be installed in Vila Nova de Gaia, will be dedicated to serving the different European markets. To do this, it employs several dozen highly specialized workers in this field of intervention.
We remind you that Fujifilm has been in Portugal since 1967. Furthermore, Fujifilm Portugal develops its activity in three areas:
1. Images🇧🇷 from the capture to the printing of the photograph🇧🇷
Thus, offering image solutions for companies and consumers, under the premise that photographic culture enriches human life.
It also includes a wide range of products, from 8K and 4K high-definition cinema and broadcast television lenses to large-format digital cameras. We also have instant cameras, services and software for photo printing.
On the other hand, for the society in general, Fujifilm also offers surveillance camera systems that help public safety.
2. Graphic Communication
This includes large format digital printing systems, software solutions for workflow management and POD (Printing on Demand) and Healthcare. Incidentally, it also includes a wide and complete portfolio of medical solutions that allow responding to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Simultaneously, covering CT (Computerized Axial Tomography), MRI and X-ray systems. It also covers AI (artificial intelligence), PACS (image archiving and communication system), women’s health, endoscopy, ultrasound, life sciences and veterinary.
3. Camera repair service
This service’s mission is to provide high quality professional services in the area of repair, calibration and maintenance of digital photographic equipment, cameras and lenses and analogue.
Fujifilm’s repair center in Gaia will serve 25 countries in Europe
According to Fujifilm itself, the service stands out for its benefits based on professionalism and reliability. When it is set up, this highly technical center will have some two dozen professionals, and its expansion is expected in the short term.
The new center will be in charge of serving countries such as Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic and Denmark. It will also serve Greece, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Iceland, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, Israel and South Africa.
In the short term, services to France, Slovenia and Ireland will also be secured, reaching 25 countries.
