“It is about taking bread from the poorest of the poor. The Social Subsidies Administrator (ADESS) must show its face and clarify where the vulnerability has been of the system for such a barbaric act to have taken place,” Rojas said.
The political leader declared that President Luis Abinader has not fulfilled the promise he made in his first speech, to submit a Social Protection Law and, as a consequence, reengineer the government’s social sector.

He urged the Dominican Government to protect and strengthen the Single System of Beneficiaries (SIUBEN), since it is the tool that allows having an adequate list of those who truly need the help of social programs.
He said that this institution should not be touched to reduce its functions or resources, rather, strengthen and protect it, without using it for political gain.
“It is necessary that for the Supérate Program and the other social programs as well, control of banking regulations is maintained in such a way that the type of fraud can be avoided. that has happened, which should not go unpunished,” Rojas said.
In addition, the members of the People’s Force demanded that the process not be limited to investigating and bringing to justice the owners of colmados, members of the Red de Abastos Solidarios, RAS, but also that everyone who may be involved be investigated. regardless of your category. .
