The announcement of the ICC Awards for the year 2022 starts from Monday. From January 23 to 26, a total of 18 awards will be announced in different categories. There will be 5 team prizes and 13 individual prizes. ICC had announced the shortlisted teams and players for these awards last month, in which there was an ICC Voting Academy voting option for cricket fans around the world. The voting period has ended. In such a situation, only the prizes remain to be announced.

All eyes will be on the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year Award. The winner of this award will receive the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Babar Azam, Ben Stokes, Sikandar Raza and Tim Southee have received nominations for this award. Similarly, the race for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year is between Natalie Sheaver, Smriti Mandhana, Amelia Carr and Beth Mooney. The Rachel Hayhoe Flint Trophy is awarded to the winner of this award.
