French ambassador to Paraguay dies in Buenos Aires

The French ambassador to Paraguay, Emmanuel Cocher, died in Buenos Aires as a result of a "serious health problem"reported this Saturday the French legation in AsunciĆ³n.

In a letter addressed to diplomatic missions and representations of international organizations accredited to the Government of Paraguay, The French embassy indicated that the death of the diplomat occurred this Friday in the Argentine capital.

The Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs echoed on its Twitter account the information released by the French representation in AsunciĆ³n.

According to the embassy, ā€‹ā€‹a Book of Condolences will be available at the French residence between next Tuesday and Thursday.
