Freeman and Urias lead Dodgers to beat Phillies

Freddie Freeman had three singles and drove in two runs, Julio Urías pitched five scoreless innings and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 on Friday for their sixth win.

Trea Turner doubled and had an RBI for the Dodgers, who lead the NL West and began a 10-visit, 10-day road trip.

The Phillies continue to struggle without slugger Bryce Harper, who missed his fifth straight game after receiving an injection of platelet-rich plasma into his injured right elbow on Sunday.

Philadelphia lost for the fourth time in five games and avoided its third shutout loss in that streak after JT Realmuto hit an RBI double with two outs in the ninth. The RBI ended a 21-inning scoreless streak for the Phillies.

Philadelphia has just four runs in four games since returning home Thursday after winning five of seven on its West Coast trip.

Urías (3-3) gave up two hits and struck out five without walking. The defeat went to the Venezuelan Ranger Suárez.

For the Dodgers, the Dominican Hanser Alberto 4-1.

For the Phillies, Dominican Jean Segura 4-1. Panamanian Johan Camargo 4-2. The Venezuelan Odúbel Herrera 4-0.
