That victory alone banked them 10 points. Then came Saturday, the 23rd, which featured six more intense matches. Team Solid kept up its amazing performance, piling up another 127 points that day.
When you add it all up, Team Solid holds a commanding position. The official summary for this first round shows them clinching an impressive 142 points overall. This combines their Friday success with Saturday’s strong showing. Fluxo currently sits in second place, though they are quite a bit behind. They managed to finish the round with 85 points. Rush rounded out the top three, securing a respectable 84 points.
Only 12 teams, representing groups A and B, logged onto the server for these opening matches. For some, it proved to be a very tough introduction to the competition. RED Canids, a new team in this edition, struggled significantly. They found themselves at the very bottom of the leaderboard, with only 24 points. It goes to show how fierce the competition is at this top level.
