The American Ashburn is in second place with 517 nodes. It is not possible to pinpoint an exact location for more than 5,800 nodes, because people deliberately conceal their location. Incidentally, Amsterdam is also on the list as the 6th largest Bitcoin city with 365 nodes. Based on those kinds of numbers, we see how small Bitcoin really is at the moment.
ATM network growth is stagnating
Despite the considerable number of Bitcoin nodes, the growth of the number of Bitcoin ATMs has not been on the rise for a while. The growth of the network has been stagnant on this statistic for about six months. At the time of writing, there are over 38,500 Bitcoin ATMs worldwide. However, that number has been at the same level for months, which of course cannot be viewed separately from the development of the price.
