Francisco Cabral Reaches Consecutive Fourth Doubles Final with Lucas Miedler in Bordeaux Challenger

Francisco Cabral and Lucas Miedler are set to face off in the doubles final of the Bordeaux challenger after beating Cleeve Harper and Ryan Seggerman 6/3, 3/6, 10/8 in just 1 hour and 18 minutes.

What to Expect

The Portuguese-Austrian duo will take on Yuki Bhambri and Robert Galloway, the second seeds, in the final. Bhambri and Galloway are well-placed in the French challenger’s clay court event.
Their path to the final has been impressive. Cabral and Miedler were the fourth seeds in Bordeaux. They’ve now reached the final in four of their last five tournaments – the only exception being their first-round exit at the ATP250 in Marrakech.
Before Bordeaux, they won the Madrid challenger and were runners-up at both the Estoril Open and Oeiras Open 4.
Cabral, ranked 51st in the world and Portugal’s top doubles player, and Miedler (56th) have been on a roll since partnering up in late March. This will be their fourth final together.
