Opposed to vaccination, singer Francis Lalanne also seems to be against wearing a mask. He was so virulent towards an SNCF agent who asked him to carry him on a train, Sunday, September 5, that the latter filed a complaint.
To the controller, who asked him to comply with the rule of wearing a mask to avoid spreading the coronavirus, he replied by explaining that he had an exemption from his doctor, reports Le Figaro. The woman accompanying him also refused to cover her mouth and nose.
A second SNCF agent joined his colleague, with whom a half-hour discussion took place to try to make the antivax see reason. He then put on his protection, before removing it immediately after they left the car in which he was. Coming back to ask him to hand it over, the singer would then have lost his temper: “are you going to stop pissing us off?” Stop bothering people with the mask, ”he reportedly yelled at the controller, approaching her face. He would also have been threatening. Once the trip was over, she went to file a complaint. A decision which “follows rude remarks and virulent gestures, not directed against the agent but in a very agitated attitude”, explained the SNCF to our colleagues.
Francis Lalanne has become a habit of aggressive behavior lately. He notably called in a forum dating from the beginning of the year to “put the State out of harm’s way” and described vaccination as a “crime against Humanity”.
