Francia Márquez ends her tour of the African continent

The Colombian Vice President, Francia Márquez, closes this Thursday in Ethiopia the tour that she undertook a week ago and which also took her to South Africa and Kenya, in order to strengthen political, economic and cultural relations with Africa.

He plans to meet with the Ethiopian president, Sahle-Work Zewde, the first woman to hold that position; and with the commissioner of the African Union for Peace and Security, Bankole Adeoye, among others. The visit is the highest level of the Colombian Government in 26 years to that continent, with which the Andean country’s diplomatic and commercial relations have been scarce until now.
