US Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine has taken the oath of office, becoming the first eunuch in the country’s history to become a four-star officer.
Dr. Rachel, 63, is now an Admiral of the US Public Health Service Commission Corps. His current president is President Joe Biden. Even before she was appointed to the post, she was the only transgender person in the country to hold such a high position.
According to local US media, the country’s Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine, a transgender officer, has been formally sworn in as the country’s Four Star Admiral.

“At a time when we are shaping a more diverse and representative future for all groups, it is hoped that today’s deployment will be the beginning of many more such deployments,” he said.
In his speech, he also paid tribute to the LGBTQ people. Dr. Rachel Levine is a graduate of Howard College and Tolan University School of Medicine and has previously worked as a pediatrician.
