Fornals, hero in London

“When the referee whistled the end, I just fell to the ground and started crying like a child. I don’t know why, but I seem to cry a lot this season!” Pablo Fornals has entered the history of West Ham. The Spanish midfielder scored a great goal at the AZ Alkmaar stadium that served to qualify the London team for the fourth European final in its history. The Conference League title awaits David Moyes’ team in the Prague final against Fiorentina.

Fornals, who is playing his fourth season in the ranks of the hammersis not having an easy campaign. He has alternated starts with games on the bench, but Spanish has always been a boost for Moyes. The former Villarreal and Málaga soccer player has a contract with the London team until 2024. West Ham has lived on a roller coaster this season, as they have fought until the last moment not to be relegated from the Premier League. The possibility of winning a European title is a prize for the English club and for Fornals.
