The city that never sleeps just got a whole lot louder. Fresh from the Canadian Grand Prix, the Formula 1 circus rolled into New York City for the world premiere of F1: The Movie, starring Brad Pitt.
The event took over Times Square, with a makeshift starting grid set up in the heart of the city. Display cars from all 10 teams were on show, decked out in their team colors.
Formula 1 tweeted a photo of the grid, saying “Bringing the F1 grid to NYC” with the hashtags #F1 and #F1TheMovie.
All the drivers, team bosses, and their guests walked the red carpet – or rather, a starting grid-themed one. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, who play teammates Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce in the movie, were also there.
