Honda’s bold prediction suggests a deep conviction in the current generation of Japanese footballers. He earned 98 international caps for Japan and featured in three World Cups during his illustrious playing career. He played for prominent clubs including CSKA Moscow, AC Milan, and Botafogo.

Since stepping away from professional play, Honda has turned his attention to new ventures. He established a capital fund dedicated to investing in startups. He also harbors significant ambitions in football management.

“I have two dreams now: to be the best investor in the world and to become the best coach in the world, which means being a world champion as a coach,” he revealed.
