The former European champion from Cuenca Manuel Massó has died this Wednesday at the age of 67, at his home in Mahón (Menorca), after a long illness.
Massó (El Pedernoso, 1955), was Spanish amateur flyweight champion in 1971 and bantamweight in 1972. Her greatest success was the title of European featherweight champion conquered in 1977 against Nino Jiménez.
