Forget this Samsung if you want good autonomy on your smartphone

One of the biggest concerns of users when buying a smartphone is whether its autonomy will be of quality. At a time when many are counting 5,000 mAh, these numbers don’t always tell the whole story.

This is the case of the most recent Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. The smartphone passed DxOMark’s rigorous battery tests and received a modest 60 points. This gives a 56th place in the world rankingtying with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and only one point more than the iPhone 12 mini (59).

According to DxOMark, the Galaxy A33 5G suffered in most battery tests, falling below the average of all devices already tested. It reveals poor overall efficiency, due to high discharge and low charge efficiency.

The autonomy in moderate use turned out to be low, being below two days. Revealed difficulties with autonomy in social networks, music playback or games in calibrated mode. Compared to the main price competitors, it lags behind.
