Esports has a funny way of throwing curveballs. Take the Free Fire World Series Brazil – Stage 2 (FFWS BR), also called WB for short. Last Sunday, a team named Fluxo (FX) had a truly terrible day. For a squad that once won a world championship, their showing was, well, shockingly bad.
They only managed to scrape together 25 points. This came from six drops in the biggest national Free Fire (FF) competition. You’d think such a rough performance would tank their standing. But here’s the kicker: Fluxo is still at the top of the leaderboard. They share the lead with Team Solid. Both teams have 465 points. It just goes to show you how wild things can get in competitive gaming.
The tournament has now hit its halfway mark. Nine out of 18 rounds are done. Despite their recent stumble, Fluxo clearly built a strong lead early on. This helped them keep their spot. Check out the current scores for the round below.

Here are the details of the leaderboard. The top teams are shown first.

And here’s a look at the lower part of the leaderboard standings.

The WB competition kicks off again this Friday, the 12th. Players will see a new game type: Clash Squad. This mode pits two teams against each other in 4v4 matches. It’s a best-of-eleven format, meaning teams play until one wins six rounds. This new addition could add up to 30 points to the scoreboard. You can watch all the action live.
