Florida Authorities Resolve December Homicide Case
A recent development in the case of a 34-year-old man who was found with a gunshot wound to his back on December 27 has been announced by the Police and Prosecutor’s Office in Florida.
Convictions and Sentencing
Following a summary trial, three individuals have been charged and convicted in connection with the homicide. The perpetrator, a 28-year-old, has been sentenced to 6 and a half years in prison for aggravated homicide.
A 36-year-old co-author received a sentence of 7 years in prison, with additional charges for drug possession and threats. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old accomplice was sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Investigation Details
Although the case has been resolved, the 22-caliber weapon used in the homicide remains at large and has yet to be found by authorities.
