Fix LoL VAN-100 Error with Simple Connection Resolutions

League of Legends players often hit a roadblock with the VAN -100 error. It’s frustrating, but Riot Games says it’s just a connection issue that can be fixed easily.

First, check your internet connection. Make sure everything’s okay with your provider.

Next, restart the Riot Games client. Click the triangle icon in the bottom right corner, then right-click and select “Exit”. Open the client again.

Another step is to restart League of Legends itself. Click the “X” icon in the top right corner to close the game, then go to “End Session”.

If that doesn’t work, try restarting your computer. Go to the Windows icon, click “Power” and select “Restart”.

What to do if none of these steps work

If you’ve tried all these steps and the error persists, contact Riot Games’ support team. Open a ticket on their official website and explain the situation. They’ll help you figure out what’s going on.

Remember, the VAN -100 error is usually just a connection issue. By following these steps, you should be able to get back to playing League of Legends in no time.
