Ines Lopez, the new U23 national record holder, made her debut as the Spanish absolute discus champion, winning the final with a best throw of 55.14 meters.

Dani Arce won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:23.84, adding his second national title.

Fernando Carro, who had to retire from the European series in Rome after colliding with a fence, could not compete in La Nucía due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Marta García, the new European bronze medalist in Rome, won her third consecutive title in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:38.64.

Guerra Revalidates His Crown Against Cáceres

Jaime Guerra, with a jump of 8.17 meters, revalidated his crown as champion of Spain, defeating Eusebio Cáceres, who took the silver medal with a jump of 8.07 meters.

Cáceres, the leader of the year, had a good competition, but Guerra saved his best jump for the last time, reaching 8.17 meters.

Tessy Ebosele revalidated her crown, winning the event with a jump of 6.59 meters, just one centimeter above the 2022 champion, Irati Mitxelena.
