Fitbit Charge 5 is seen in filtered images with a color screen

Activity wristbands are the flagship of Fitbit, a company that was acquired by Google some time ago.

Although Google has focused on smartwatches, it appears that Fitbit is still working on activity bands. Now a new set of renderings shows what the supposed to look like. Fitbit Charge 5.

Evan Blass posted on Twitter a series of images of what he claims to be the Fitbit Charge 5. The renderers show the device in three colors: black, green/silver and white/gold.

Fitbit Charge 5 is clearly inspired by the design of the Fitbit Luxe, including the use of a color screen. This is the first time in the Charge line, which has always used black and white displays.

The watch face shows the time, date and current heart rate, with an indicator on one side that is likely to respond to your heart rate or stride increase. There is also a big touch pad on the side and another angle shows that the belt is replaceable.

We’re still not sure when the Fitbit Charge 5 will make its formal debut, but the Date October 23 that appears on the bracelet is probably not a coincidence.
