Getting the booksellers out of the tourist postcard. This is, among other things, the objective set by the brand new Paname bouquine festival, which is taking advantage of the literary return to offer this weekend of September 4 and 5 many activities and meetings, between discovery of this profession. so dear to Parisians, and love of reading.
The authors of the Gallimard, Futuropolis and Ramsay houses (who are associated with the event, just like Agnès B. and Le Point Ephémère) will therefore be numerous to invest the various quays of the Seine along which are aligned the so characteristic green stalls of the booksellers, to sign, meet and discuss with the public. Passers-by will be able to see “literary portraits” drawn up and exchange views, among others, with writers Etienne Crosnier, illustrator Marie Thoisy, educational trainer Laura Maclet, or even linocut Jean Fotzler.
The more than 200 booksellers will be well heard at the rendezvous, to unveil all the secrets of their activity inseparable from the Capital.
Treasure hunts, guided tours, concerts, exhibitions and shows – children are not forgotten – are also on the program, as detailed below. Note that some activities require prior reservation on the site.
