King Charles III of England broke his silence on social networks this Saturday by making a statement with which he wanted Thank you for the messages and expressions of affection which he has received since his cancer diagnosis was made public. This is the first message he has sent since Buckingham Palace announced his illness, Europa Press reports.
“I would like to express my most sincere thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes that I have received over the last few days,” the King of England initially said. “As anyone affected by cancer will know, and“Your kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.” He explained, before emphasizing that “sharing my diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and shed light on the work of all organizations supporting cancer patients and their families in the UK and around the world.”
Finally, the son of the late Queen Elizabeth of England expressed his “lifelong gratitude for her tireless care and devotion, made even greater by my personal experience.”
It was last Tuesday when the monarch appeared before the cameras again alongside his wife, Queen Camilla, leaving the official residence of Clarece House in London to move to Sandringham in Norfolk.
