Finals of Les Deux Alpes with Eguibar postponed due to bad weather

The International Ski Federation (FIS) confirmed this Saturday the postponement to tomorrow due to bad weather of the finals of the initial test of the World Cup snowboard cross, held in Les Deux Alpes (France), with the participation of the Spanish Lucas Eguibar.

The man from San Sebastian, world champion in 2021, was seventh in the first qualifying round held yesterday with a time of 1:07.00 and will participate in the finals, rescheduled for this Sunday.

Eguibar will compete in series 7 of the round of 16 along with the French Merlin Surget (1:07.35) and Benjamin Gattaz (1:08.69) and the American Cody Winters (1:08.48), the last two classified after the second round.
