According to the data shared on Ax Hand, Fighter had opened its account with Rs 36.04 Crores worldwide and in 7 days the film had earned Rs 252.52 Crores. “Fighter” is expected to touch Rs 260 crore mark on its eighth day.

Made on a budget of Rs 250 million, Fighter is the first big film of the year. This film, with a successful director and a big star cast, was expected to gross Rs 300-400 crore, but given the speed at which the film is doing at the box office, it is finding it difficult to recover its cost. This film lagged far behind Siddharth Anand’s previous blockbusters ‘Pathan’ and ‘War’ in terms of earnings. Now it remains to be seen whether this film can recoup its budget or not.
