The country’s commercial banks began yesterday to announce the new hours that govern their face-to-face operations from today, January 3, 2022, as a preventive measure against the increase in infections due to influenza and Covid-19.
The measure responds to a call from the Association of Commercial Banks (ABA), which in turn, being a measure of temporary flexibility, recommends that they specifically notify their schedules to the Superintendency of Banks, since all are not affected by the same way.
The notices are being published by each bank on their social networks. Banco BHD-León will work in all its branches in general from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 1: 0 pm. On Sundays it will not open. Instead, it arranged differentiated hours in shopping malls and provinces. This January 6, Three Kings Day, he will work from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The autobanco service operates from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Taking into account the conditions of the squares, the BHD León operates from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ágora Mall. In Blue Mall the hours are from 10 : 00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday and from 10:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. In the branches of Bravo Los Frailes, Carrefour, Hipermercados Olé, Luperón Multiplazas and supermarkets La Sirena Puerto Plata III and Super Pola Las Terrenas, the hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 9: 00 am to 1:00 pm.
In Bella Vista Mall I, Downtown Center, Megacentro, Galerías 360, Homs, Luperón II, Patio Colombia, San Juan Shoping Center, Unibe and Sambil the hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. For bus services in general, the new hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

The ABA reported Thursday that these provisions are covered by resolution 018-21 of the Superintendency of Banks, issued on December 30.
Resolution
Resolution 018-21 of the Superintendency of Banks authorizes financial intermediation entities (EIF) and exchange intermediaries to adopt the necessary provisions to prevent the spread of Covid-19, whose omicron variant circulates in the country.

In Ágora Mall, Bule Mall Santo Domingo and Blue Mall Punta Cana the new hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. On Sundays it does not open.
