FIFA World Cup: Great convenience for Emirates Haya Card holders

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has announced an integrated program for holders of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Haya Card that will take place from November 20 to December 18 this year.

According to the international website, the program comes under the UAE’s initiatives to help Qatar host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The UAE will host World Cup fans through multiple entry tourist visas and allow them to re-enter the UAE for 90 days.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has explained that the program involves the granting of a multiple-entry visa to the UAE for a period of 90 days from the date of issuance of the visa.

The visa fee has been reduced to AED 100 and will be paid once for the entire period.

The authority says that Hiya card holders can enter the UAE by applying for this visa starting November 1, 2022, during which time they can enter the UAE multiple times.

This visa can be extended for another 90 days as per the conditions, procedures and normal fees in the current UAE visa system.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded from the above procedure as they can enter and remain in the UAE under the current procedure.

Hiya card holders can apply for a multiple entry tourist visa through www.icp.gov.ae.
