Ferran Torres: “I entered a well; That’s when I decided to work with a psychologist.”

Ferran Torres already confesses that he has lived through dark days. In an informal chat with some Catalan media quoted by Barça and echoed by Mundo Deportivo this Tuesday, the striker admits that “I entered a bottomless pit, I did not know how to get out” and also explains that he began psychological work after last season’s Europa League quarterfinal tie against Eintracht Frankfurt. “I was not confident and everything affected me. It has been a very bitter experience, but at the same time one of the best moments because now I feel stronger”explained in statements that Mundo Deportivo extracts from the informal talk he had with the media from Barcelona.

Of course, Ferran believes that he has already overcome the bad streak. “I have become too obsessed with the goal and not with playing. Before, I thought more about scoring, even if I didn’t play well. Now I have learned to go out, to enjoy and from there, things come out on their own”says in the statements collected by MD.
