Then he added: “He (his father) was totally sure that this life was not easy, it seems that the few places where he sang on the Northwest Line gave him a glimpse of everything we have been through.”

Last Tuesday, “El Mayimbe” recalled that mess that broke out, “It was already organized and planned that I could not win first place because at 17 I was going to have a change, a metamorphosis of my voice and like every young person from 16 to 18 goes through, but I was lucky enough to that Mario and Don Juan Lama gave me a scholarship to study singing with the teacher Ivonne Haza de Bisonó, who gave me the appropriate technique to at least understand something of how to sing ”.
