Legendary Dominican manager Félix Fermín is in a kind of limbo in his duties with the Aguilas Cibaeñas.
During the past month of March, the general manager Angel Ovalles announced that Fermín would be assistant to the management and that he would not continue in the position of manager. In his place, the Eagles named José Leger, coming from the ranks of Licey.
However, later Fermín accepted a managerial position with the Tecolotes de Dos Laredo, in the Mexican League, and that led them to a limbo situation.
His statements are contained in an interview conducted by Hector J.Cruz, sports editor of Listín Diario, which is available on the digital platform of this newspaper.
Fermín also clarifies that when he left for Mexico he and Ovalles agreed to talk again when he returned to the country.
The president of the Eagles, Victor García Sued, declared last night to Listín that the doors of the Eagles are open for Fermín.
Fermín also spoke about his return to Mexico last year, and his prospects for this winter. Likewise, he offered details of his work as manager, which ended last week when they lost the second playoff against Monterrey.
