Felipe Orts and Lucía González, leaders of Spain in the Cyclocross World Championships

Felipe Orts from Alicante and Lucía González from Asturias, current Spanish cyclocross champions, will be the great Spanish assets for the Cyclocross World Championships which will be held in the Dutch town of Hoogerheide from February 3 to 5 after the publication of the squad list by the national coach Pascual Momparler.

The Spanish delegation will be made up of 11 cyclists. In the elite category Felipe Orts and Kevin Suárez will be the representatives in the men’s event, where they will face great figures such as Mathieu Van der Poel or Wout Van Aert, while Lucía González and Sofía Rodríguez will compete in the women’s absolute test.

In the sub-23 category Alain Suárez and Gonzalo Inguanzo will be the Spanish representatives, while in the junior category Uxía Soto and María Filgeuiras will compete in the women’s race while Gorka Corres, Hodei Muñoz and Carlos Gámez They will do it in the men’s test.
