Fedoci announces selection that will participate in San Salvador 2023

The Dominican Cycling Federation (FEDOCI) announced the national team that will participate in the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Sports Games San Salvador 2023 that take place in that Central American country, with Diego Milán Jiménez and Flor Espiritusanto as its main assets.

The information was provided by the specialized journalist Martín Olivo, noting that there is great enthusiasm among the Creole representatives in the Central American country.

Olivo indicated that the Creole squad, in addition to Milán Jiménez, (national route runner-up) and Espiritusanto (Under-23 champion), will be made up of Steven Polanco, Joel García Peña and Jeudy Liranzo, in the men’s Mountain Bike modality.

Gabriela Tejada and Ana Guzmán also make up the delegation, who will engage in the exhausting and technical women’s MTB event.

Olivo reported that Diego Milán and Steven Polanco are part of the INTEJA-Imca team, but regretted that the national champion, Pablo Alcides Reyes from Santiago, from the Verrazano team, was not included in the roster.

Espiritusanto (BMC), who presents an excellent state of form obtained after racing in Europe for a Portuguese team, will be the only representative in the women’s peloton of the prestigious Central American race.
