‘Fear haunts UP after 7 pm’, Priyanka Chopra questions a police officer about women’s safety

Priyanka Chopra recently visited Lucknow as an ambassador for UNICEF. A video has been shared on Priyanka Chopra and UNICEF’s social media platform, where Priyanka Chopra also arrived at the 24/7 control room for women’s safety. Through this post, Priyanka shared a long note about Women Power Line 1090, which has been made to help UP women and children. In this video, Priyanka Chopra is seen asking the police officer: ‘Now tell me one thing, in cities like UP, I also grew up in Lucknow, but there is still fear from within, especially after 7:00 pm.’

Responding to Priyanka’s question, the police officer tells her that, “Let me show you the data…While visiting the control room, Priyanka looks at the work being done there, after which the police officer tells her It’s not the police.” because we want these people to be neutral. While sharing this video, Priyanka wrote in the caption of her photo: Women’s safety is a must. Every day we hear many stories of violence and harassment against women and girls across the country.
