FC Porto’s 38th Golden Dragons Gala Set for December 1st

Portuguese football club FC Porto will host its 38th annual “Golden Dragons” awards gala on December 1, continuing a tradition of honoring prominent figures and engaging its members in the selection process.

The club announced the ceremony, which distinguishes key figures across the entire FC Porto universe, will take place at 9 PM local time.

For the seventh time, the event will be held at the Dragão Arena, the club’s indoor sports venue situated adjacent to the iconic Estádio do Dragão.

These categories include Footballer of the Year, Indoor Sports Player of the Year, and Member of the Year.

Nominees for these awards are expected to be unveiled shortly, with voting to commence soon after for the club’s associates.

Previous “Golden Dragons” ceremonies held at the Dragão Arena occurred in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2022.
