FC Porto secured a dramatic, last-second victory in its FIBA Europe Cup debut, defeating Antwerp 80-79 after Wes Washpun scored two decisive free throws with less than a second remaining.

The guard’s crucial shots sealed the win for the Portuguese club at the Dragão Arena. It marked a thrilling start to their campaign in the European basketball competition.

Forward Javian Davis was also key to Porto’s success, contributing 20 points, nine rebounds, and two assists during the contest.

Porto will play its next Group B fixture on October 22, traveling to Estonia to face Tartu.

In another Group B match, Tartu suffered a 100-82 loss to Germany’s Seawolves.
