What a night it was for Froholdt! The FC Porto midfielder truly shone on Thursday while playing for the Danish national team. It was only his fifth time wearing the national jersey, and he made it count. Against Belarus, he finally broke his scoring duck, putting Denmark ahead just 14 minutes into the match.
He wasn’t done yet. Just five minutes later, Froholdt turned provider. He delivered a pinpoint assist to Rasmus Hojlund, who then scored Denmark’s second goal. What an incredible start to the game for him. He had certainly made his mark. In fact, his performance was so impactful that he was substituted by Eriksen at halftime, having already done a fantastic job.
