FC Porto Edges Sporting, Advances to Decisive Roller Hockey Finals Match

FC Porto pulled off a stunning comeback against Sporting at Dragão Arena. They won 7-6 in a penalty shootout. This means the championship title will be decided in the final game.

Coach Ricardo Ares said his team’s win was “against all odds.” He thought what happened on the court was “unbelievable.”
Ares said, “When I got here four years ago, they told me it’s against everything and everyone. Today they tried to stop us, but we made it.”

The game had many ups and downs. Ares admitted it wasn’t the best game of roller hockey, but they won.
He added, “The physical and mental strain was huge. We’re doing more recovery than practice at this point.”
The team will rest tomorrow, recover, and then prepare for the final game on Tuesday.

The final showdown is set for Tuesday at 3 PM at Pavilhão João Rocha in Lisbon. FC Porto is ready to take on Sporting and won’t give up without a fight.
