Kolkata: In West Bengal, a father was brutally tortured to death by brutal accused for forbidding his daughter to be teased. The police registered a case against two accused.
According to details, a 35-year-old man was tortured to death by two local youths in West Bengal’s Howrah district when he tried to stop them from molesting his minor daughter.
According to Indian media, the police have arrested one of the two suspects, while the other suspect managed to escape.
According to the police, the matriculation student was returning home from the tuition class last evening when two accused persons standing on the way stopped her and tried to molest her.
As soon as the information was received, the girl’s father reached the spot and when he resisted reprimanding the accused after bitter words during that time, the two accused tortured him mercilessly and kept beating him by throwing him on the ground.
The injured person was bleeding profusely from the head, after which the accused left him there and fled from the scene of the incident. The injured was taken to the hospital for medical treatment where he died during treatment.
Local police officials say the case includes murder charges and various provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
