A tragic accident occurred in El Pinar, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old motorcyclist. The incident happened when the motorcycle, traveling in the opposite direction, collided with a car coming from the front on Pérez Butler Avenue, at the corner of Juan Manuel Blanes.
According to the Canelones Police Headquarters, the car, driven by a 23-year-old man, was heading south when it reached the intersection and struck the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a young 22-year-old, was seriously injured in the crash. After the initial impact, the car then collided with another vehicle traveling in the same direction, driven by a 42-year-old woman.
The medical team that attended to the young motorcyclist diagnosed serious polytrauma and rushed him to a nearby health center, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries hours later, as stated in the official police report. Fortunately, the other drivers involved in the accident were unharmed.
