Fast bowlers played a major role in Team India’s historic victory at Centurion, they took away so many wickets

In the first test match played between India (IND) and South Africa (SA) at Centurion, the Indian team recorded a historic 113-run victory. The Indian team had given a goal of 305 runs in the second inning, in response to which the African team was eliminated for 191 runs. Fast bowlers played a major role in India’s victory. As in the first inning, Mohammed Shami, Bumrah and Siraj took the news of the South African hitters fiercely in the second inning and kept them from reaching the target. The first match of the series was very exciting and in the end India won.

In the first test for the Indian team, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj managed the rhythm attack and completely destroyed the South African batting. Mohammed Shami took 5 windows in the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah took 2, Shardul Thakur took 2 and Mohammad Siraj took one window. Ravichandran Ashwin didn’t get any ground in the first innings.

In the second inning too, only the fast bowlers were ignorant. Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah each took three wickets while bowling brilliantly. Mohammad Siraj obtained two plots of land. While Ravichandran Ashwin also opened his account by sending Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi to the pavilion in the last over of the match. Overall, 18 of the 20 fields were in the name of fast bowlers.

Starters KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal hit brilliantly in the first inning. Rahul scored 123 while Mayank contributed 60 runs. Apart from him, Ajinkya Rahane scored 48 and Virat Kohli scored 35 runs. In the second inning, the Indian hitters completely flopped and the team was out for just 174 runs. Rishabh Pant scored 34 runs in the second inning.
