Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar is getting married. Mukesh has taken leave from the BCCI ahead of the third match of the 5-match T20 series between India and Australia due to the wedding. Deepak Chahar was named in the squad in place of Mukesh. However, Mukesh will make a comeback in the fourth T20 match to be played in Raipur on Friday, December 1.
In the third game against Australia in Guwahati, Avesh Khan was named in the playing eleven in place of Mukesh Kumar. Earlier, Mukesh was part of the playing eleven in both the T20 matches.
BCCI issued a statement on Mukesh Kumar and said, “Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has requested the BCCI to release him from the squad ahead of the third T20 against Australia. Mukesh is getting married and was released from the squad for the wedding celebrations.” was granted leave. He will join the squad ahead of the fourth T20 in Raipur. According to Navbharat Times, Mukesh Kumar will get married in Gorakhpur. Mukesh’s future wife lives in Chapra village in Baniapur Berui and her name is Divya Singh.
It is noteworthy that Mukesh Kumar made his debut for India in all three formats. He made his Test and then ODI debut against the West Indies in July. He then appeared in the T20 International against West Indies in August. So far he has played 1 Test, 3 ODI and 7 T20 International matches. He took 2 wickets in the only Test. Furthermore, he has taken 4 wickets each in ODI and T20 International.
