Farhan Akhtar has confirmed that his much-anticipated film “Jee Le Zaraa” is moving forward. The director provided a significant update regarding the travel-drama, which will star Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif.
Work on the film is slated to restart soon. Akhtar revealed the news in a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, reassuring fans about the project’s future.
He acknowledged that coordinating the schedules of the three leading actresses was a challenging process. “Honestly, trying to get the artists’ dates was painful,” Akhtar stated, “But we have sorted everything out. We will start soon.”
The film was initially announced in 2021, approximately four years ago. It promised to bring together the trio of prominent actresses for a unique travel narrative.
However, the production faced delays, leading to speculation that the project might be shelved. Akhtar himself had previously disclosed that the film was nearly put on hold due to the difficulties in aligning the actresses’ busy schedules.
He had even postponed his own acting commitments to focus on “Jee Le Zaraa.” This dedication underscores the film’s importance to the director and its cast.
Since the film’s initial announcement, significant personal changes have occurred for the stars. All three lead actresses have become mothers.
Katrina Kaif welcomed her child earlier this year, joining Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra in motherhood. The actresses remain busy with various upcoming projects alongside their family commitments.
