Khan recalled that Akhtar and her brother Sajid would watch the film ‘Kranti’ daily before heading to school. She believes this particular film greatly inspired him.
Akhtar confirmed the impact of ‘Kranti’ and also cited the film ‘Shaheed’ as a major influence. He additionally mentioned his own directed film, ‘Lakshya’, as an inspiring work.

‘120 Bahadur’ tells the story of the 1962 India-China War. It focuses on the Battle of Rezang La, a critical engagement during the conflict.
The film depicts how approximately 120 Indian soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, valiantly faced over 3,000 Chinese troops. They defended their post until their last breath.
Akhtar takes on the significant role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the film. His performance is highly anticipated.
‘120 Bahadur’ is scheduled for release on November 21.
